The reason I draw is that I am overwhelmed by the power of cities around the world. Drawing cities allow me to immerse myself in my own fictional world, nencumbered by anyone else.

Born in Tokyo Bunkyo-ku district in 1984, EDIAFH has been drawing cities ever since his days at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York, where his drawing of the "Domino Sugar Factory" drew attention from designers and art professionals. Inspired by the power of cities around the world, he draws them without a rough sketch or ruler, using only pens to connect and reconstruct their monuments, mixing memories, sensations, and ideals. For EDIAFH, drawing cities is a way to immerse himself in his own fictional world, unencumbered by anyone else.
